AND DEMI LOVATO WILL BE THERE!!!! AND SO WILL PITBULL!!!!

Even if you don’t like football, watching the Super Bowl is fun. There are snacks, there are commercials, your friends will bring beer, and remember, J.Lo and Lady Gaga are gonna be there. So pin those dip recipes, figure out how many buffalo wings you need to order, and read on to know all the very important deets about Super Bowl LIIV.

So, When‘s the Super Bowl Again?

The Super Bowl will take place on February 2, 2020. The location changes every year, and this time around, the two final teams will throw down at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Kick-off starts at 6:30 p.m. ET, which is prime wing-eating time.

Who’s Doing the Pregame Show?

Before all the festivities even go down, there will be a special NFL Tailgate Tropicale pregame show in Miami, and the lineup is almost as good as the Halftime Show. Believe you me, you're going to want to tune in at 2 p.m. ET on Fox to catch Pitbull, Dan + Shay, Yolanda Adams, and DJ Khaled perform special sets for the occasion.

Who’s Taking on the National Anthem?

Demi “Booked and Busy” Lovato will take on the notoriously difficult national anthem with her insane vocals. And what’s even more exciting is this will be one of Demi’s first live performances since she stepped back from the spotlight following an overdose in July 2018. She just performed at the Grammys last Sunday, and it was so powerful and emotional, so get ready for those insane vocals we’ve been missing.

Who’s Performing at the Halftime Show?

Two ICONS, that’s who. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira both teased the news on Twitter by tweeting pictures of each other:

And J.Lo further confirmed the news in a press release.

Ever since I saw Diana Ross fly off into the sky at the Halftime Show, I dreamed of performing at the Super Bowl. And now it’s made even more special not only because it’s the NFL’s 100th anniversary, but also because I am performing with a fellow Latina. I can’t wait to show what us girls can do on the world’s biggest stage.

Sharika and J.Lo on the same stage??? Literally what did we do to deserve this gloriousness??? It’s gonna be legendary. Life-changing. Earth-shattering. Just...*chef’s kiss*

Oh, and that’s not all—there is a sliiiiight chance that Latin king of pop, Ricky Martin (!!!), might be a part of the Halftime Show. He kinda hinted at the fact that he might be there possibly as a performer, so like....what’s the deal with that?

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ricky was playing hella coy and said that he might fly to Miami to catch the performance, but as far as joining J. Lo and Shakira, that is up in the air. He could have just said no, but guess what—he didn’t!

“Maybe I’ll fly to Miami. Maybe...I’ll be there. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens,” he said. “But it’s really nice when you can, you know, mix such a powerful event with sports, it’s a very beautiful...and cultural event as well. And now the fact that they’re opening the doors to Latin sounds to be part of the celebration, it’s something that I’m having a really, really good time with.”

Welp, fingers crossed that Ricky does join in on the festivities, because I personally would love and live to see how they weave in “Livin’ la Vida Loca” into the Halftime Show!

What’s This I Hear About Lady Gaga?

Don’t panic, but Lady Gaga, who sang the national anthem at Super Bowl 50 and did the Halftime Show a year later, is back. While she’s not going to join J.Lo or Shakira during the actual game (boo), she’ll be at the AT&T TV Super Saturday Night concert in Miami. In case the name wasn’t obvious, this performance is going down on the Super Bowl stage the day before the big game, which means we can look forward to two days of heart palpitations! If you’re not able to score tickets, you can catch it on a Twitter livestream.

In an announcement, Gaga said, “I’ve had some incredible experiences performing at the Super Bowl and am very excited to join the party again this year headlining AT&T TV Super Saturday Night!”

So How Do I Get Tickets to This Thing?

If you want to go to see J.Lo and Shakira (the correct answer) or watch a bunch of bros throw a ball around (I don’t understand it, but I’ll support you), you can try to buy tickets for the Super Bowl online, but that will probably cost you your whole live savings and then some. If you don’t have tickets by now, try to enter a radio contest or watch it on TV like the rest of us!
