When Simone Biles isn't winning medals and speaking her truth at the Tokyo Olympics, she's hanging out with her boyfriend, NFL player Jonathan Owens. Even if you're not the biggest football fan, you might have to start watching a few games in support of the new man in Simone's life. So who is he and how long have the two been dating? Here's everything you need to know about Jonathan Owens.

He recently started his fourth season in the NFL as a defensive back for the Dallas Texans. He shared a training camp selfie and received an adorable shoutout from his girlfriend. Simone wrote, "OKAY BABYYYYY😍😍😍 YOU LOOK GOOD IN YOUR ELEMENT."

Jonathan celebrated his first preseason game with an Instagram post and Simone hyped him up even more. She beamed, "even sexier in uniform 😍🔥🥵"

The happy couple posed for an adorable usie that Simone captioned, "my whole heart." Jonathan replied, "My everything ❤️❤️"

He was been so supportive of her throughout the Tokyo Olympics. While Jonathan couldn't join Simone in Tokyo, he rooted her on from afar, praising his girlfriend on social media throughout the competition.

After Simone announced she would not compete in the all-around finals, Jonathan shared an Instagram post in honor of his girlfriend. "Imma ride with you through whatever baby ❤️" Jonathan captioned a set of pictures of Simone. "Your strength and courage is unmatched and you inspire me more and more everyday SB 🤞🏽You always gone be my champ baby and don’t you ever forget that, i love you so much and i can’t wait till you come home and i get to see that beautiful smile again. You know I’m always here for you baby ❤️❤️-JO."

But that's not all. After Simone took home the bronze in the balance beam finals, Jonathan continued to celebrate his girlfriend on Instagram. "Words can't explain how proud I am of you right now," he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

He is Simone's biggest fan. Jonathan posted an Instagram photo on June 7th congratulating Simone after she won her seventh national title at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships. "What an amazing experience 👏🏽," he wrote alongside a picture of him and Simone. "First time getting to watch you compete in person and you didn’t disappoint. It’s so cool that i get to watch you do what you love, and be the best at that ‼️ I’m so proud of you my lil champ 🥰❤️ Trials up next and you already know I’m there!! Love you baby ❤️❤️."

He's a Cancer. Jonathan's birthday is July 22, 1995. One clue that he was dating Simone before they made it Instagram official is that Simone gave him a birthday shout-out on her IG story. "Happy 25th birthday 😘," the caption reads. "Hope this year brings you everything you want & more."

He's in the NFL and plays for the Houston Texans. He's a safety for the team and has been with them since 2019. According to the bio on her website, Simone lives in Spring, TX. Spring is only about a half an hour from Houston by car, so hopefully, the couple gets to spend lots of time together.

He's been playing professional football since 2018. Jonathan has been with the Houston Texans since 2019, but AZ Central reports that he's been playing in the NFL since 2018 when he was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals.

But he also played football in high school and college. Jonathan attended Missouri Western State University and played throughout his collegiate career. But the MWSU website tracks his career even further back saying that he played while attending Christian Brothers College High School.

His net worth could be as high as $50 million. Jonathan hasn't revealed how much his NFL contract is worth, but Information Craddle says it could be anywhere from $5 to $50 million.

He says his sister forced him to start playing football. He's close with his family and has pictures of them all over his Instagram. On Instagram back in June 2018, Jonathan posted a birthday shout-out to his older sister Chanel where he says she "forced" him to start playing football. "Happy birthday sis! Who knows where I’d be if you didn’t force me to start playing football 😂," the caption says. "It’s crazy how close we are even though we 11 years apart, imma keep making you proud! Love you sis ❤️."

He also called his mom his "biggest fan and supporter." In a Mother's Day post, Jonathan showed some love to his mom. "Happy Mother’s Day to my ❤️ you have been my biggest fan and supporter through it all," the caption says. " I’m so thankful for everything you’ve taught me, enjoy your day beautiful 😌."

He has a bulldog named Zeus. And Zeus has an Instagram full of top-quality content.
