HINGHAM, Mass. (AP) _ Hingham Institution for Savings (HIFS) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $11.4 million.
The bank, based in Hingham, Massachusetts, said it had earnings of $5.20 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $4.04 per share.
The community bank posted revenue of $30.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $20.8 million, exceeding Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $38.9 million, or $17.83 per share. Revenue was reported as $75.7 million.
Hingham Savings shares have fallen 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $206.01, a climb of roughly 4% in the last 12 months.
