HINGHAM, Mass. (AP) _ Hingham Institution for Savings (HIFS) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $4.7 million.
The bank, based in Hingham, Massachusetts, said it had earnings of $2.13 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $3.68 per share.
The community bank posted revenue of $20.6 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $12.1 million, topping Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $30.4 million, or $13.90 per share. Revenue was reported as $64.1 million.
Hingham Savings shares have dropped slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $197.33, a decline of 7 percent in the last 12 months.
