Online shopping is all about convenience, but ahead of the holidays, things can get a little hectic
With the large volume of online orders retailers experience in the weeks leading up to the holidays, you’ll want to take note of some deadlines to be met if you want a gift to be delivered on time.

Customs and longer transit times often push the holiday delivery deadline up — especially in Canada. So be aware of certain dates if you’re looking to fit in a bit of last-minute online shopping.
Here are the many retailers that you’ll be ordering from and their last-possible dates for shipping to Canada by the holidays.
Nordstrom
While delivery and pick-up is much more flexible for our neighbours south of the border, you’ll want to act fast for your Nordstrom online orders. We’ve already passed the date for Standard Shipping to Canada (it was Dec. 4), but you’ve got until Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. EST for Express Shipping.
Everlane
With free Express Shipping across Canada coming up between Dec. 13 and Dec. 16, it’s the perfect opportunity to shop Everlane’s selection of sustainable basics. The brand does recommend placing your order on the 13th though, just to be safe and ensure that your package arrives on time.
Coach
In order to shop for all your handbags, footwear and accessories with Coach ahead of the holidays and still receive them on time, you’ll want to get your orders in fast. The last day to submit online orders in Canada this year is Dec. 13.
Lululemon
Kick off those New Year’s resolutions on the right foot with gifts from Lululemon, who is currently offering free shipping and free returns on all standard orders. If you’re going to wait until the last minute though, you’ll have until Dec. 20 to choose FedEx shipping and get your deliveries in time.
Hudson’s Bay
There’s nothing like Canadian retailer Hudson’s Bay to make the holidays feel special with their range of cosy winter essentials. Place your order via Standard Shipping by 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 19 to receive it by Christmas Eve.
Glossier
Give the gift of Glossier this holiday season for glowing, fresh skin year round. Place your orders by Dec. 18 by 1pm EST, and choose Expedited Delivery to have your package arrive by Dec. 24.
Anthropologie
If you’re looking to get your orders in at Anthropologie, shoppers in Canada, as well as in Australia, New Zealand & the United Kingdom have until 1 p.m. EST on Dec. 17. This applies to both Standard and Express Shipping, so you can save $5 by sticking with the standard shipping option.
Marks & Spencer
Royal-approved British retailer Marks & Spencer has you covered for all your holiday gifting, with fashions for the whole family. Order by Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. EST for to make sure that your items get to you in time for Christmas.
ASOS
Though we may have already missed the mark for Standard Shipping from ASOS, there’s still time to shop for gifts as long as you select Express Delivery at checkout. Order by Dec. 17, and you’re guaranteed to receive your package in time for the holidays.
The Detox Market
For all things makeup, skincare and wellness this holiday season, The Detox Market is your one-stop shop. Just be sure that you place your order before noon on Dec. 16 to receive your items.
Indigo
To ensure that you receive your packages on time, Indigo recommends placing your orders on or before Dec. 11. Deadlines may be different depending on where you’re located in Canada, so they’ve also created a handy guide that shares the last day to order based on your postal code.
Net-A-Porter
Looking to spoil your loved ones with lavish designer gifts? You’ve got until Dec. 20 at 3 p.m. EST to pick them up at Net-A-Porter, so long as you choose Express Shipping at checkout.
American Eagle
With different shipping deadlines depending on where in the country you’re located, you’ll want to make sure you shop accordingly. For rural locations, you’ll want to get your online orders in by Dec. 12 at 6 a.m. EST; for urban and suburban locations, it’s Dec. 18 at 6 a.m. EST, and for major cities you’ll have until Dec. 19 at 6 a.m. EST to get them in.
J.Crew
Find all the soft knits and winter essentials you need when you shop J.Crew’s holiday collection. Standard and Express Shipping orders must be placed by Dec. 13 at 12 p.m. EST to ensure that your delivery comes in time for Christmas.
Revolve
If you’re looking for the perfect dress to wear to Christmas dinner, Revolve is one great spot to shop. Place your order by Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. to receive your delivery on time.
White House Black Market
To make sure that your delivery arrives before Dec. 24, get your orders in at White House Black Market by Dec. 11 at 12 p.m. EST. You do still have a little extra time if you opt for Express Delivery, with a final order date of Dec. 16 at 12 p.m. EST.
