HomeAway expands pay model

The largest vacation rentals company extended its pay-per-booking model and Professional Referral Network — a directory that connects owners to professional managers — to its vacation-rentals-by-owner website. It's expanding its pay-per-use model, introduced in Oct., as an alternative to its core subscription model. Pay-per-booking lets homeowners rent out houses they own seasonally or for events such as the Super Bowl or soccer World Cup. HomeAway (AWAY) shares rose 1.5% to 41.81 .
