On a per-share basis, the Bedford, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 64 cents.
The gene editing company posted revenue of $270,000 in the period.
Homology Medicines shares have decreased slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $22.25, a rise of 10% in the last 12 months.
