Hoth Therapeutics Inc. Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering

NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hoth Therapeutics Inc. (HOTH), a development stage biopharmaceutical company focused on unique targeted therapeutics for patients suffering from indications such as atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 1,250,000 shares of its common stock at an initial offering price to the public of $5.60 per share, resulting in aggregate gross proceeds of $7.0 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated offering expenses. In addition, Hoth has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 187,500 shares of common stock at the initial public offering price, less the underwriting discount, to cover over-allotments, if any.

Hoth’s common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on February 15, 2019 under the ticker symbol “HOTH”.

Laidlaw & Company (UK) Ltd. acted as the sole book-running manager for the offering. The Benchmark Company, LLC served as Qualified Independent Underwriter for the offering.
