HOUSTON (AP) _ Houston Wire & Cable Co. (HWCC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $1.6 million.
On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had net income of 10 cents.
The specialty wire and cable distributor posted revenue of $87.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $8.6 million, or 52 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $356.9 million.
Houston Wire shares have risen 16 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $5.85, a decrease of 13 percent in the last 12 months.
