Recently, The Hertz Global Holdings Inc. (HTZ) – a company engaged in vehicle and equipment rental operations – revealed the plan of expanding and enhancing its rental service program ‘Hertz on Demand’ in Boston by means of four new sites in Northeastern University. The services will be provided to the University faculty, students, staffs and all the members of the program.
The four new sites are located in Northeastern University – the Columbus Surface Lot, The Matthew's Arena, the North Lot, and the Ryder Lot. The services can be availed from the company’s website along with other offers consisting of various value-added options.
The service will be free of any annual fee or late few, which sets the company apart from its peers. The customer will only be liable to pay for the services acquired by them. The program provides 24/7 access to vehicles with various kinds of cars available for the customers according to their needs.
Management believes that they have doubled in size since their first launch in Boston. The introduction of ‘Hertz on Demand’ program in Northeastern University will enhance the company’s relationship with its customers by providing better services at lower costs.
To date, ‘Hertz on Demand’ has around 150,000 members and operates in six countries and in about 50 university campuses, making it easy and convenient for the students, staffs and faculty to enjoy the rental car services. This program runs about 850 vehicles in around 250 sites.
