Independence Blue Cross to mount Pa. health exchange outreach campaign in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Philadelphia-based health insurer Independence Blue Cross says it's dispatching teams of employees around the city to help educate people about the new insurance exchange.

Independence says it'll have teams of people Tuesday morning at four city transit stations, Suburban Station, Market East, 69th Street and 30th Street Station.

They'll distribute enrollment information and balloons and set up entertainment for visitors.

It says it's also parking a truck at the Rising Sun Health Center in north Philadelphia, where visitors will be able to apply for a new insurance plan on the exchange.
