AMSTERDAM (AP) _ ING Groep NV (ING) on Wednesday reported net income of $1.45 billion in its fourth quarter.
The Amsterdam-based bank said it had earnings of 38 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 37 cents per share.
The financial services provider posted revenue of $5.14 billion in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $5.14 billion, topping Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $5.55 billion, or $1.43 per share. Revenue was reported as $21.36 billion.
ING shares have increased 12 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 36 percent in the last 12 months.
