Inside Mariah Carey's Luxe Irish Hotel Suite

The Spice Girls also booked rooms at the five-star property·Architectural Digest

While plenty of celebrities visit beautiful Ireland for work or pleasure (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West honeymooned there), it seems many of them flock to one hotel in particular: the InterContinental Dublin. And Mariah Carey was the property's latest A-list guest.

The legendary singer was in town to kick off the European leg of her Caution World Tour on Wednesday, and she arrived a few days early to relax and prep for the big show. To do that, she reportedly booked an entire floor at the hotel, which includes the largest five-star suite in the city: the James Joyce Suite. At 2,600 square feet, it has three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room that seats eight, a kitchen, bar, entrance foyer, a private terrace, a bathroom covered in Italian marble, fresh floral arrangements, and three balconies.

Carey posted a video on Instagram that seems to have been taken on one of those balconies after she noticed a rainbow in the distance. “Hello Ireland,” she wrote. “Thank you for this gorgeous welcome rainbow. Can’t wait for opening night of the #CautionWorldTour in Europe on Wednesday right here in Dublin!”

While the James Joyce Suite is the hotel's grandest offering, the rest of the place is just as luxurious. There are two other penthouse suites—the W.B. Yeats Suite and the Lady Gregory Suite—that boast the same amenities but are just slightly smaller. Even the standard rooms are stunning, with balconies, luxurious bathrooms, and pillow-top mattresses.

The whole property sits on two acres and has five restaurants and bars, in addition to an award-winning spa providing plenty of space for stars to relax in private. No wonder Justin Timberlake, Adele, and Britney Spears have stayed there over the years. Oh, and The Spice Girls are also reportedly shacking up in the luxe accommodations at the same time as Carey. Talk about girl power!
