Torrent Capital Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the insider, George Armoyan, sold CA$202k worth of shares at a price of CA$0.63 per share. That means that even when the share price was below the current price of CA$0.95, an insider wanted to cash in some shares. As a general rule we consider it to be discouraging when insiders are selling below the current price, because it suggests they were happy with a lower valuation. While insider selling is not a positive sign, we can't be sure if it does mean insiders think the shares are fully valued, so it's only a weak sign. This single sale was 60% of George Armoyan's stake. The only individual insider seller over the last year was George Armoyan.

Happily, we note that in the last year insiders paid CA$378k for 696.00k shares. But insiders sold 525.50k shares worth CA$320k. In the last twelve months there was more buying than selling by Torrent Capital insiders. They paid about CA$0.54 on average. It is certainly positive to see that insiders have invested their own money in the company. However, we do note that they were buying at significantly lower prices than today's share price.
