ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Jan 21, 2016) - Insightpool announces that Don MacDonald, formerly CMO at Intel and Fiserv, has joined its Board of Advisors, and Leeann Berner, formerly VP of Marketing at Cloud Sherpas, has been named the company's first CMO. The appointments follow last week's announcement that Insightpool raised $3 million in debt financing from Silicon Valley Bank to accelerate adoption of its predictive marketing platform.

MacDonald has been a technology marketing executive for more than 25 years. In addition to his role as CMO at Intel and Fiserv, he was VP of Marketing at Qualcomm and Check Point Software. At Intel he was responsible for defining and executing the company's Centrino platform and marketing program, which became the fastest-growing product in Intel history. As part of Insightpool's Board of Advisors, he will mentor the leadership team and work closely with Berner to conceive new marketing initiatives.

She will also work closely with fellow members of the executive committee to develop and implement the company's strategic plan.
