Pixel is here and it comes in three truly unique colors.

At its "Made By Google" event on Tuesday, Google announced its much anticipated Pixel devices, the company's new premium Android smartphones.

Though we saw a fair share of teases, rumors and detailed leaks over the weekend, nothing could have prepared us for the names of the mobile device colors.

You could soon be the proud owner of a Pixel or Pixel XL in the stunning and descriptive: "quite black," "really blue" or "very silver."

No, we're not joking.

The errrh interesting color names could be the result of a poor Google search for descriptive adjectives, or possibly an attempt to poke fun at Apple, who released the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in two new colors, black and jet black.

Though the inspiration behind of the comically basic names remain uncertain, one thing's for sure, they've managed to give people on Twitter a good laugh.
