NEW YORK (AP) _ Intra-Cellular Therapies Inc. (ITCI) on Wednesday reported a loss of $34.8 million in its first quarter.
The New York-based company said it had a loss of 63 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 90 cents per share.
Intra-Cellular shares have risen 19% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 31% in the last 12 months.
