The business and fin'l management software maker said after the market closed Thu. that it lost 3 cents a share in its fiscal Q1 vs. an 8-cent loss a year ago, beating estimates for a 6-cent loss. Sales grew 9% to $647 mil, topping forecasts as it attracted more online customers and Small Business Group revenue rose 18%. For the full year, Intuit (INTU) sees $3.32-$3.28 a share EPS, but lower than the $3.36 consensus of 20 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters. Intuit shares fell in after-hours trading.
