ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) _ Invacare Corp. (IVC) on Monday reported a loss of $13.9 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Elyria, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 42 cents. Losses, adjusted for amortization costs and non-recurring costs, came to 32 cents per share.
The wheelchair, crutches and motorized scooter company posted revenue of $223.4 million in the period.
Invacare shares have risen 81% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $7.78, a decline of 58% in the last 12 months.
