ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) _ Invacare Corp. (IVC) on Tuesday reported a loss of $18.6 million in its third quarter.
The Elyria, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 57 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 41 cents per share.
The wheelchair, crutches and motorized scooter company posted revenue of $250.9 million in the period.
Invacare shares have risen almost 7 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $13.95, an increase of 39 percent in the last 12 months.
