Invesco: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

ATLANTA (AP) _ Invesco PLC (IVZ) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $269.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had profit of 65 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 66 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 67 cents per share.

The investment management company posted revenue of $1.34 billion in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.39 billion.

Invesco shares have declined 43 percent since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has risen 5 percent. The stock has fallen 42 percent in the last 12 months.
