SAN FRANCISCO, March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Invitae Corporation (NVTA) today announced the exercise in full of the underwriters' option to purchase an additional 1,350,000 shares of its common stock at the public offering price of $19.00 per share, in connection with Invitae's recently announced underwritten public offering of 9,000,000 shares of its common stock. As a result of the underwriters' option exercise, the aggregate gross proceeds to Invitae from the offering, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $196.7 million. The offering is expected to close on or about March 8, 2019, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
