HOUSTON (AP) _ Ion Geophysical Corp. (IO) on Wednesday reported a loss of $3.7 million in its third quarter.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of 26 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 21 cents per share.
The provider of seismic data to oil and gas companies posted revenue of $53.2 million in the period.
Ion Geophysical shares have risen 58% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $8.18, a decrease of 31% in the last 12 months.
