HOUSTON (AP) _ Ion Geophysical Corp. (IO) on Wednesday reported a loss of $14.5 million in its fourth quarter.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of $1.02 per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 40 cents per share.
The provider of seismic data to oil and gas companies posted revenue of $42.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $48.2 million, or $3.41 per share. Revenue was reported as $174.7 million.
Ion Geophysical shares have dropped 32% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $5.93, a decline of 38% in the last 12 months.
