Will The iPad Mini Come In Multiple Colors Like The iPod Touch?

Apple is said to be just a few weeks away from announcing the iPad Mini, but we've seen surprisingly few leaks on the device. (At least compared to the lead up to the iPhone 5 announcement.)

Now it looks like Apple is making some last-minute changes to the design we've already seen, including at least two color options for the back casing. The France-based blog NowhereElse claims to have a shot of the iPad Mini's headphone jack in black and white.

Gizmodo takes the rumor a step further, showing some mockups of what the iPad Mini could look like in multiple colors. Keep in mind that's pure speculation on Gizmodo's part, following the recent leak of a black anodized aluminum casing for the iPad Mini. It's the same material Apple uses on the New iPod touch, which also comes in multiple colors.

How valid are these rumors? Well, the recently leaked iPad Mini casing does look pretty legitimate. And it would make sense for Apple to differentiate the iPad Mini by offering it in multiple colors like the iPod Touch. Plus, when Apple released the iPod Mini back in the day, it offered the device in several colors. Anything's possible.
