NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ J. Alexander's Holdings Inc. (JAX) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $2.7 million.
The Nashville, Tennessee-based company said it had profit of 18 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, came to 19 cents per share.
The casual dining restaurants operator posted revenue of $57.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $7 million, or 47 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $219.6 million.
J. Alexander's expects full-year earnings to be 44 cents to 49 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $232 million to $234 million.
J. Alexander's shares have declined 15 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $9.10, a drop of 13 percent in the last 12 months.
