Jaguars, Bucs, Dolphins feature 'One Florida' decals this week

In the wake of Hurricane Irma, which ripped around Florida last week, the state’s three NFL teams are sporting a new decal to show unity in the face of the storm’s devastation. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Miami Dolphins will each feature a “One Florida” decal on their helmets.

Irma left more than 5.6 million in Florida without power for several days. While the storm’s weakening force lowered its damage total, estimates still indicate that it could have done as much as $49 billion in damage to the state.

Meanwhile, the Houston Texans continue to feature a “Houston Strong” patch on their jerseys all season as that city seeks to recover from the damage inflicted by Hurricane Harvey. The teams have not yet disclosed what their charitable plans are beyond the decorative patches and decals.

The Dolphins-Bucs game was postponed in advance of the hurricane, so those teams are playing their debut games this week. Tampa Bay will welcome the Chicago Bears, while Miami travels to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers. Jacksonville will face the Tennessee Titans at home in a match of unexpectedly strong AFC South teams.
