James Corden is bringing the entertainment and music world to living room couches across the country with the prime-time special “Homefest: James Corden’s Late Late Show Special" on Monday (CBS 10 EDT/PT)

The coronavirus-safe special will feature Corden, from his garage, introducing stars from their own homes around the world — musical performances by BTS in South Korea, Andrea Bocelli performing in Italy, Dua Lipa in London, and Billie Eilish with Finneas O'Connell and John Legend in Los Angeles.

Magician David Blaine, Will Ferrell and others are also expected to make appearances.

Corden and the guests will encourage viewers to follow the CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Additionally, the show will raise money for the nonprofit Feed the Children and The CDC Foundation.

'Late Late Show' 5th anniversary: Features the first Corden episode with Tom Hanks

James Corden will host “Homefest: James Corden’s Late Late Show Special" from his garage.

"Since 'The Late Late Show' came off the air, we have been thinking of different ways to try and make a show at this time," executive producers Ben Winston and Rob Crabbe said in a joint statement. "We are going to try to put on the best show we can, to entertain, raise awareness, raise money and hopefully lift spirits. Shooting from James' garage may be far from perfect, but under the circumstances we hope it can help someone, somewhere, who needs some cheer right now."

Corden celebrated the fifth anniversary of his "Late Late Show" in unusual fashion last week with production shutdown hitting all of entertainment due to the pandemic.

He filmed a short video at home before a replay of his first episode in 2015. Ironically, that show's featured guest was film legend Tom Hanks, the first big Hollywood celebrity to reveal a positive coronavirus test. Mila Kunis also appeared.

As for the plan of Monday?

"The plan is do anything except for home schooling my children," Corden said during an online discussion with Gayle King he posted on the #Homefest Twitter account.
