PEMBROKE, Bermuda (AP) _ James River Group Holdings Ltd. (JRVR) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $22.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Pembroke, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of 83 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time items, came to 73 cents per share.
The insurance holding company posted revenue of $231.5 million in the period.
James River Group shares have declined 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $35.74, a decline of slightly more than 9% in the last 12 months.
