Calling all lifeguards: Summer might be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean your life-saving days are over. American Dream, the enormous shopping, lifestyle and entertainment destination just outside of New York City is officially hiring as many as 300 lifeguards to man their indoor water park.

What exactly is the American Dream, you might ask? It'll be the third largest retail, entertainment, and lifestyle destination in the entire continent of North America, clocking in at 3 million square feet, and it's officially opening it's doors this year on October 25.

American Dream is hiring both full-time and part-time lifeguards to guard the massive indoor water park that will be the largest indoor water park in the Western Hemisphere, and the second-largest in the entire world.

The lifestyle destination's website says that it'll have the world’s largest indoor wave pool, the longest hydro-magnetic coaster, and the tallest indoor body slide with a 50-foot free-fall. The water park will also feature 35 water slides and 13 attractions, including two surf riders, surf lessons, a kids' play structure, a lazy river, and a swim-up bar. The park will also have 31 luxury cabanas that overlook the park with views of Manhattan.

To apply, you don't need to have any lifeguard experience at all—American Dream will provide you with all the training you'll need to start guarding (and saving) lives. All you need to do to qualify is have previous customer service experience, the ability to stay calm in emergency situations, excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.
