Jessica Biel is having the year of her life.
The 36-year-old earned her first Emmy nomination this year, and tonight she’ll have the chance to win TV gold, squaring off against fellow actresses Laura Dern, Michelle Dockery, Edie Falco, Regina King, and Sarah Paulson for the honor of Lead Actress in a Limited Series. But first: the red carpet.
Our girl’s been working hard to get in shape for the annual awards show. My entire being is crying out in pain just watching the Sinner star do these pistol squats.

Biel wasn’t even nominated last year, but she still brought her signature sparkle to the carpet, arriving in a Grecian Ralph & Russo gown with a train that would make even Princess Di jealous.
This year, Biel channeled her inner Cinderella, hitting the carpet in a pale blue strapless Ralph & Russo gown (à la Claire Danes at the 2016 Met Gala), alongside her dapper husband, Justin Timberlake — heard of him? Speaking to his wife's nomination, the crooner fanboyed a little, telling Giuliana Rancic, "I’m more geeked out than she is." Biel told Variety, if her younger self got a glimpse at her life right now: "I think she would literally faint."
The Emmy nominee kept the rest of her get-up simple, opting for soft romantic waves (kind of her hair signature), and a magenta lip. As the night goes on, we'll see if her luck is as good as her look.
