During President Obama's farewell address on Tuesday night, the Commander-in-Chief took a few moments to thank those who supported him the most during his time in office: Michelle Obama, his daughters Malia and Sasha, his staff, and of course, Vice President Joe Biden.

Yes, while making his final official remarks as president, Barack Obama snuck in a quick tribute to his and Biden's unforgettable bromance:

"To Joe Biden, the scrappy kid from Scranton who became Delaware's favorite son, you were the first choice I made as a nominee, and the best," Obama said to his VP. "Not just because you have been a great Vice President, but because in the bargain, I gained a brother. We love you and Jill like family, and your friendship has been one of the great joys of our life."

Biden responded from the front row with a sly finger gun, naturally:

And gave POTUS a standing ovation, along with the First Family and the rest of the crowd:

The internet, still keen on the Biden meme trend, was emotional over the whole interaction.

The Obama administration may be on its way out, but this iconic bromance is here to stay.
