John Cena Hits the Gym on His 41st Birthday Following Nikki Bella Split
Let the birthday burpees begin?
John Cena wasn’t going to let his birthday celebrations keep him from staying in shape! The Blockers star shared several videos of himself lifting weights at the gym on Monday in celebration of him turning 41.
“Forty-one years old. 160kg. NEVER let age define effort. #EarnTheDay #NeverGiveUp #RAW,” Cena captioned one clip of himself.
In the video, he's seen lifting massive weights while rocking a fitted green T-shirt and black gym shorts. The WWE wrestler also looks serious about his workout while doing deadlifts in another video.

It’s been a year of ups and downs for Cena. While his acting career has taken off -- thanks to his role in the Oscar-nominated animated film, Ferdinand, and parts in Daddy’s Home 2 and Blockers -- his personal life has hit a bump in the road.
Cena recently announced that he and Nikki Bella had called off their engagement. “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” the two said in a joint statement. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”

Earlier this month, a source told ET that Cena and Bella's decision to split centered around their disagreement over whether to start a family.
"Nikki and John truly love each other, but they will never have the same view on a perfect future," the source said. "Nikki has always dreamt of having a family of her own and John does not want children and that was the main cause of their break up. They are both dedicated to their careers, but Nikki wants more than just that."
