BOSTON, Jan. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire/ - John Hancock Investment Management LLC (the "Adviser") today announced an update to the portfolio management team for the John Hancock Tax-Advantaged Dividend Income Fund (NYSE: HTD) and John Hancock Tax-Advantaged Global Shareholder Yield Fund (NYSE: HTY) (the "Funds"), closed-end funds managed by John Hancock Investment Management LLC and subadvised by Manulife Investment Management (US) LLC, Epoch Investment Partners, Inc., and Wells Capital Management Inc. (the "Subadvisers").
Today, Greg McMurran announced his intention to retire on March 7, 2020. Over the coming months he will continue to manage the portfolio and work closely with the investment team to ensure a smooth transition of management responsibility.
