Johnny Galecki — or Leonard (*knock, knock, knock*, Leonard!, *knock, knock, knock,* Leonard!) as Big Bang Theory fans know him to be — is now officially working on his next big CBS sitcom.

Per Deadline, the actor is currently collaborating with executive producer of Will and Grace, John Quaintance, on a new comedy called AOK. The sitcom will take place at an underdog Internet company in 1991 (before the popularity of AOL) and will be about "a group of young and mostly idealistic entrepreneurs who work together, hang out together and fall in and out of love with each other, all while trying to change their world and holding up a mirror to ours."

For now, it sounds like Johnny will be behind the cameras and work as an executive producer. That said, there haven't been any cast announcements for AOK yet, so we'll see if he ends up appearing on screen.

"This specific period of time is personal to many, including all of us involved so it’s important to make the show feel as authentic as possible," Galecki gushed to Deadline. "We are excited to reimagine the '90s sitcom through a modern lens as John [Quaintance] has created something truly special. We hope to surprise people in a familiar place with characters you will fall in love with."

This is definitely exciting news for Johnny, who has stayed out of the spotlight since the series finale of The Big Bang Theory in May 2019. As fans of the popular sitcom know, Johnny played Leonard for all 12 seasons beginning in 2007, starring alongside his friend and ex-girlfriend Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Jim Parsons, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch.

Like Johnny, most of the Big Bang cast members have since moved on to other projects. To name a few, Kunal is currently working on filming the movie Spaceman and TV series Suspicion. Meanwhile, Kaley is currently starring in the Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominated show The Flight Attendant. Jim recently took on the role of Henry Willson in the TV mini series Hollywood and continues to lend his voice to the Big Bang prequel series Young Sheldon.
