Junex Launches Dialogue with Mi'gmaq First Nation of Gaspesie

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug 31, 2017) - Junex Inc. (the "Company" or "Junex") (TSX VENTURE:JNX) is pleased to announce that a meeting has taken place with the three chiefs of the Mi'gmawei Mawiomi, the assembly of elected representatives of the three Mi'gmaq communities of Gesgapegiag, Gespeg and Listuguj.

At the Mi'gmawei Mawiomi's request, it was agreed to begin a consultation process to allow the Mi'gmawei Mawiomi to consult the population of the three Mi'gmaq communities of Gaspésie. That consultation will last four months, during which Junex will not undertake any exploration activities. This consultation process follows a specific mandate from Junex's board of directors to launch a dialogue with the First Nations, which is in line with the Company's Sustainable Development Policy that favours development that is respectful of host communities through a transparent approach and constant dialogue.

Junex emphasizes that Galt is a conventional project and that putting it into production does not require any massive hydraulic fracturing.
