Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Cuddle Close as They Root for the Toronto Maple Leafs in Boston
Justin Bieber is rooting for his home team … even if they lost.
The “Sorry” singer headed to Boston on Tuesday evening to catch the Toronto Maple Leafs take on the Boston Bruins in game 7 of the NHL playoffs at the TD Garden.
Shortly before the game, the singer, 25, Instagrammed a prayer for his team. “Dear lord please be with Austin Mathews, Mitch Marner and all of the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight as they play game 7 against the Boston bruins,” he wrote.

Dressed in a black hooded Essentials sweatshirt and backwards black baseball hat, Bieber watched the game in a corner box near the Maple Leafs net, alongside wife Hailey Baldwin and another couple, as well as his bodyguards.
Baldwin, sporting a Maple Leafs jersey and jeans with her blonde hair slicked back, sat with her hands on her husband’s shoulders as he watched the game intently.
“Justin was focused on the game,” Bruins fan Jake Duhaime told PEOPLE. “Hailey was playing the role of a supportive wife. There were times in which she had her arms around him, but, for hockey fans who know and understand a Game 7, we need the emotional support at that moment and Hailey was doing her part to provide it.”

Justin was also spotting standing in the box with his arms wrapped around Hailey affectionately.

Bieber could be seen bobbing his head to “Zombie Nation,” the Bruins goal song, despite the negative turn the game was taking for his team.
“There were a few deep sighs, throwing the shoulders behind his head and looking to the sky,” Duhaime told PEOPLE. “It was, very symbolic of the Maple Leafs entire fan base.”

Justin left after the Bruins made it 4-1 with 2:32 left in the third period, when Charlie Coyle scored an empty netter effectively sealing the game. The final score was 5-1.
Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak joked after the game, tweeting “Not today @justinbieber. #BostonStrong”.
