FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. (AP) _ Kaiser Aluminum Corp. (KALU) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $6.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Foothill Ranch, California-based company said it had a loss of 41 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 36 cents per share.
The aluminum products company posted revenue of $275.7 million in the period.
Kaiser shares have declined 35% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $71.96, a decline of 25% in the last 12 months.
