Kate Spade has a track record for inclusivity: Tapestry, the brand's parent company, was named a "Best Place to Work for LBGTQ Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) for the seventh year in a row in 2021 after scoring a perfect 100% in HRC's 2021 Corporate Equality Index. As part of this year's Pride Month 2021 celebration, Kate Spade is also donating 20% of the rainbow collection's net profits to The Trevor Project, an organization that provides mental health crisis assistance to LGBTQ youth across the country, through Saturday, July 31, with a maximum donation of $150,000. That's a substantial increase from the $25,000 the company donated in 2020.
Though purchases from last year's Pride-themed collection are final sale (which means no returns or exchanges), you can also shop this year’s Rainbow Collection—while these goodies aren’t included as part of the epic sale, 20% of the profits will still go toward The Trevor Project, making for even more reasons to snag an item or two.
