Most recently, the Dawson's Creek alum appeared at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival, where she spoke on stage with Priyanka Chopra about the effects of climate change on countries around the world. And in addition to her striking words, we were also stunned by Holmes's outfit.

Holmes opted for an edgy, rugged ensemble that consisted of black jeans, maroon lug sole boots, a white t-shirt and a black vest layered over it. As she arrived at the event, Holmes also sported a long, brown leather jacket on the red carpet.
However, the Alone Together actress ditched the jacket while she was on stage, and her outfit looked particularly understated next to her speaking partner, Chopra, who opted for a colorful, watercolor-like two-piece.

In addition to her cowboy chic, the Logan Lucky star also switched up her hair. Although the 43-year-old has been wearing it down for most of her recent events—from the Tribeca Film Festival to NYFW—she decided to change it up with a tightly-pulled half updo, with a few strands left framing her face.
“The world's poorest nations contribute the least to climate change, but suffer the most from its effects,” Holmes said during her time on stage. “It could become too hot to live in places in sub-Saharan Africa, South America and India. Sea levels are rising faster today than ever before.”

Chopra added, “And yet, the funding allotted to the International Climate Finance—which would help communities worldwide address and adapt to climate change—is obviously drastically less than what's needed to tackle this issue at scale.”
The pair then introduced climate activists Vanessa Nakate and Xiye Bastida, who Holmes presented by saying, “Joining us now are two activists who are a part of the biggest climate movement in the world and they are making sure that their message is heard.”
