R.R. Donnely & Sons (RRD) - Moody's downgraded RRD to Ba2 from Ba1, putting it two levels below investment grade. Moody's is concerned that RRD is not focused on lowering its debt.
Barnes & Noble (BKS) - Barnes & Noble is settling a lawsuit brought on behalf of its shareholders for $29 million, after the company acquired a textbook retailer that was owned by CEO Leonard Riggio and his wife at an abnormally high price.
Nokia (NOK) - The mobile handset developer is planning to cut 10,000 jobs and close plants by the end of next year.
Costco (COST) - Costco announced earlier today that it plans to purchase Controladora Comercial Mexicana's 50 percent stake in Costco de Mexcio for more than $760 million.
Codexis (CDXS) - Interim CFO Brian Dowd announced that he will resign at the end of the month.
United Technologies (UTX) - UTX raised its quarterly dividend 11 percent, as the conglomerate tries to enhance the stock value for its shareholders.
