Key congressman announces online sales tax prinicples, The Hill says

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, a Republican, laid out several principles for any online sales tax bill, including protecting state sovereignty, no regulation without representation and encouraging competition among states, according to The Hill. Goodlatte feels the principles are not met by the Senate's online sales tax bill, but supporters of an online sales tax believe the bill could be tweaked to meet the congressman's concerns, the website stated.
