HANOVER, Md. (AP) _ The KEYW Holding Corp. (KEYW) on Wednesday reported a loss of $3.2 million in its fourth quarter.
The Hanover, Maryland-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was breakeven on a per-share basis.
The provider of cybersecurity services to defense, intelligence and national security agencies posted revenue of $68.9 million in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $72.8 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $25.7 million, or 63 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $288 million.
KEYW shares have declined 23 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $9.13, a rise of 32 percent in the last 12 months.
