The Kids Kicking Cancer Event Is Less Than One Week Away -- "Spirits For A Cause" -- A Wine Tasting & Mixology Happening to Support the Kids Kicking Cancer Organization

SOUTHFIELD, MI--(Marketwired - April 09, 2014) - The Kids Kicking Cancer Organization's special event is less than one week away. It would be a shame to miss this news worthy event, "Spirits For A Cause Benefitting Kids Kicking Cancer", which will be held on 4/12/2014, at 7:30pm at the Knollwood Country Club, 5050 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Come one and come all to participate and help support Kids Kicking Cancer. The event begins with a two-hour Wine Sampling session. The unique drinks created by Michigan's best Mixologists will astound everyone. An added bonus is the world-class appetizers and food samples provided by the area's most loved eateries. Top musicians from the area will be performing live for all to enjoy. Don't forget about the 50/50 Raffle, Wine Pull, and a silent auction benefitting Kids Kicking Cancer.

Kids Kicking Cancer aids children suffering with Cancer to help control the stress and pain caused by their treatments via personalized training taught by Certified Black Belt Martial Artists. This technique helps the kids experience peace, power and purpose by sharing their deep breathing methods with other kids and to help them lower their stress. Kids Kicking Cancer was featured on Good Morning America. The Journal of The American Society of Hematology conducted a study, and reported that: "Martial Arts can provide a useful modality to decrease pain in childhood cancer. This can improve patient compliance with respect to medical and surgical management thus reducing disease morbidity and healthcare costs," which really shows the credibility of their program.

Kids Kicking Cancer was created fifteen years ago by a Black Belt Rabbi and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.
