HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ Kosmos Energy Ltd. (KOS) on Monday reported a loss of $52.9 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and asset impairment costs, came to 6 cents per share.
The independent oil and gas company posted revenue of $296.8 million in the period.
Kosmos Energy shares have risen 62% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 4% in the last 12 months.
