Kourtney Kardashian being slammed for hanging out with designer who called Selena Gomez ugly

Although Kourtney Kardashian and Selena Gomez don’t have a long history of being the closest friends (Kardashian was rumored to have had a fling with Justin Bieber, Gomez’s on-again-off-again boyfriend). Still, there’s an unwritten girl code that you don’t hang out with a man (or the other half of his design team) who called another woman ugly — at least according to their fans.

Kardashian broke the rule as she posted a photo on her Instagram with designer Domenico Dolce, one half of the Italian fashion powerhouse Dolce & Gabbana, while on her luxurious Italian vacation.

Fans quickly reacted to the photo, criticizing Kardashian for spending time with Dolce, just weeks after his design partner Stefano Gabanna publicly called Gomez ugly and has yet to apologize. The Italian designer commented in a photo of a Gomez fan Instagram account, “She’s so ugly!!!”

The 39-year-old reality TV star is now under fire for spending time with the 59-year-old fashion designer.

Why are you hanging out with a bully,” wrote a commenter. “Didn’t he call Selena ugly and you are hanging out with him?”

Another commenter added, “How can you associate yourself with men who have no maturity and class and make fun of women’s bodies? Shame on you as the mother of a daughter.”

“Don’t you stand for girl power? Thought you were smarter than the rest of your sisters…guest not,” wrote a commenter.

Other fans pointed out that Gabbana has insulted Kourtney’s family, writing they are “the most cheap people in the world” on another Instagram post.

One wrote, of Dolce’s partner, “Ugh he is such a loser and called you cheap less than a month ago.”

The designer duo have a long history of creating controversy. They have publicly supported and proudly dressed Melania Trump, creating a divide with Hollywood elites such as Miley Cyrus. They also have stood up against gay couples having children via adoption and in vitro fertilization, despite both of them being openly gay.
