HOUSTON (AP) _ Kraton Performance Polymers Inc. (KRA) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $42.3 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Houston-based company said it had net income of $1.31 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $1.02 per share.
The specialty chemical company posted revenue of $523.1 million in the period.
Kraton shares have decreased 31 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $33.45, a decline of 20 percent in the last 12 months.
