Krispy Kreme Is Bringing Back Its Lemon Glazed Donuts For Just One Week

In preparation for summer, Krispy Kreme is bringing back the fan-favorite Lemon Glazed donuts! From Monday, April 22 through Sunday, April 28, the zesty lemon donuts will be available at participating locations.
You can check out the full list of Krispy Kreme locations offering the Lemon Glazed donuts here. One week doesn't seem long enough, but luckily, Krispy Kreme has an entire fruit-inspired collection coming this summer!

Summer may be winding down, but the folks over at Krispy Kreme are hanging on for a little bit longer. The donut chain announced that the lemon glazed donut is coming back to stores for one week starting Monday, August 27.
From Monday to Sunday, September 2, you can pick up one of the special-edition glazed donuts at any participating location. The sweet-tart donut was voted on in the #VoteForGlaze campaign earlier this year, beating out caramel, blueberry (which came to fruition this summer), and maple.

Krispy Kreme knows how to keep us coming back for more. After decades of keeping their Original Glazed doughnut pure and simple, they've unleashed a spree of new flavors, all of which have been offered for an extremely limited time.
For the newest flavor, which America voted on earlier this year, they're actually giving us a bit of a break. As in, you won't have to stake out Krispy Kreme on one specific day. Krispy Kreme's Lemon Glaze Doughnut will be in participating stores for a full week - from Monday, April 23 to Sunday, April 29. That's next week, so mark your calendars!
The lemon donut has a fresh, bright taste to it, with all of the sweetness of the original. If you like lemon pound cake, and more specifically the part that's drizzled with icing, you'll be a fan of these.
"There has been so much anticipation and zest for the new Lemon Glaze Doughnut, we can’t wait to share the joy with our fans," Chief Marketing Officer Jackie Woodward said of the new flavor.
Fans picked lemon over caramel, blueberry, and maple during the January vote.
