Another of Luke Perry's former cast-mates has penned a touching message in response to the actor's massive stroke on Wednesday.

Kristy Swanson starred alongside Perry in the 1992 movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (The TV show of the same name came out four years later, in 1996.) Swanson played Buffy, and Perry played Pike, the town outcast who teams up with Buffy to battle a powerful vampire called Lothos.

On Thursday, Swanson reacted to the news of Perry's stroke on Twitter, where she asked fans to pray for his recovery. She wrote:

"I just heard the frightening news about my dear old friend Luke Perry having a massive stroke. Luke honey I am praying so hard for you right now, I love you so much, and by God’s Grace you will get through this. Please pray for Luke 🙏♥"

Paramedics were reportedly called to Perry's home in Sherman Oaks, California, around 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday. Reps for the actor told People that Perry remains under observation at the hospital.
