DALLAS (AP) _ Kronos Worldwide Inc. (KRO) on Friday reported fourth-quarter net income of $23.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Dallas-based company said it had net income of 20 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 16 cents per share.
The maker of titanium dioxide pigments posted revenue of $333.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $43.3 million, or 37 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.36 billion.
Kronos Worldwide shares have climbed 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $13.97, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
